Calele is a multi-instrumentalist. Primarily a vocalist with trumpet as her secondary instrument. She is a Musician, Young leader, Artist, Composer, Future producer, and an adventurous spirit with never ending dedication.
Carolina Esmeralda Perez (AKA Calele) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, with a Panamanian father and Chilean mother. She was raised in a bilingual household, speaking Spanish and English, and homeschooled all her life. Being born, surrounded and raised by music and art, she was inspired by her surroundings to follow her passions. She has been making music since her childhood and continues to harvest her love for music, rich in details, vivid colors and textures. She has been taking formal voice lessons since 7 years old and recently began playing the trumpet in late 2019. Throughout the pandemic she has made music and is now studying at Berklee since fall 2022. |
